My name is Stephen Gran.

I currently work full time for Ioko.  I am a senior engineer looking after a mix of Unix and Linux servers in environments ranging from ISP settings to hosted platforms.  Fun stuff.

I used to work as a Firefighter for the Philadelphia Fire Department, after 9 years working as a Fire Service Paramedic for them.

I used to work at Medic 9, the busiest Medic Unit in West Philly, and one of the busiest in the country.  It used to have a geocities site, but sadly that's gone now.

The station where I was a firefighter, Engine 41, also in West Philly, doesn't yet have a Website.  I may have to fix that.

I also do a fair amount of work with computers, primarily Open Source Software.  In particular, I have been drawn to the GNU movement, and Debian.  I am a developer for Debian, albeit doing relatively small things at the moment.
